Her dissertation research at Johns Hopkins University focused on supporting American public school leaders with the systemic innovation of classroom practice to prepare students for the intellectual and technological demands of the knowledge economy. She has spent the past 20 years working in and around K-12 schools and writes regularly for Edutopia as well as EdTech Researcher at Education Week. Beth also holds a Master’s degree in Technology Innovation & Education from Harvard University as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
