Nihal Salah is the Marketing and Business Development Director at Harness, an Edtech startup. She has 12+ years’ experience in developing and launching businesses, products and projects in the UK and with extensive MEA experience, particularly Egypt. Nihal has worked to develop growth strategies for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, universities and multi-academy trusts in the UK and MEA. She was named as one of the Edtech50 ‘people to watch’ in 2018.
Nihal has a background in market research and marketing strategy, holds an MBA, an Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice and is currently studying for a certificate in the Design and Development of Educational Technology. Nihal has a particular interest in the future of work and the implications this will have on education and she regularly facilitates online research for the Future of Work Consortium. In her free time, Nihal enjoys extreme sports and travel.

We are discussing how gaming technology can help in teaching and learning with some examples of technology involved. We are raising the point of time pressure for a teacher and how technology can help to create space for the teacher to create and free up some time for new ideas and methods to implement.
